    Nearby Touring and a short-term visit to Wayanad Wayanad: Vayal Nadu, which translates to "land of paddy fields" is the source of the name Wayanad. It is a picturesque plateau between 700 and 2100 meters above sea level in the eastern part of North Kerala and on the sides of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka States. It is hidden among the mountains of the Western Ghats. Wayanad's culture is primarily tribal in nature.   • DAY 3: Wayanad - Coorg

    After breakfast checkout from the inn and drive to Coorg (Wayanad - Coorg ( 115 Kms/2 ½ Hrs ), on appearance register to the lodging. Coorg: Coorg, formerly known as Kodagu, is a mountainous district in the south of India that is renowned for its beautiful scenery and friendly people. As you enter Coorg, glorious sounds, sights, and smells greet you. It possesses an area of 4,102 square kilometers (1,584 sq mi) in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. For its coffee, Kodagu is well-known worldwide.     Local Sightseeing and overnight stay in Bekal. Nilswar/Bekal is a humble community on the eastern shore of the Kerala province of South India. Monster keyhole formed post, the brilliant territory of a wonderful ocean side encompassing the stronghold, backwaters and slope objections, and water sports offices close by. Kasaragod is a lovely town in the northernmost part of Kerala State. On the National Highway, 16 kilometers south of the town is the largest and best-preserved fort in Kerala, surrounded by a stunning beach. The historic Bekal Fort, shaped like a huge keyhole, has tall observation towers that look out over the Arabian Sea. These towers used to be occupied by huge cannons centuries ago.
